Gangchen Kyishong is the library of Tibetan Works and Archives, where Tibetan history books and religious handwriting are preserved.
Dalai lama temple
The most prominent attraction here is the Dalai Lama Temple where there are statues of Shakya Muni, Avalokiteshwara and Padmasambhava. A confluence of cultures of India and Tibet is found here. Brijeshwari temple is one of the Shakti Peethas. It is dedicated to Maa Durga. It is said that this temple was built by the Pandavas. This temple was damaged in an earthquake in the year 1905, after which the temple is now being maintained by the government.
Apart from the Triand, tourists can also trek to Minakini Pass. Its elevation is about 14250 feet above sea level. Through this trekking you can admire the mcleodganj surrounded by Dhauladhar hills.
