The calm, white sandy beaches of the islands attract tourists here. Apart from this, the World Heritage Site ‘Cellular Jail’ is also one of the main attraction areas here. So let’s go to the Andaman and Nicobar Islands:

1. Cellular Jail

The cellular gel is also known as Kala Pani. This prison is one of the most notorious remnants of India’s struggle for independence. The bricks used in its construction were imported from Burma. In the evening, a program is organized here through light and sound, in which the history of this prison is told. In this jail, you can see the cell where Veer Savarkar was kept. To see the Cellular Jail and Jail Museum, you have to take a ticket of 30 rupees.

2. Andaman Water Sports Complex

A few minutes away from the Cellular Jail is the Rajiv Gandhi Water Sports Complex, also known as the Andaman Water Sports Complex. Here you can do many activities related to water. In adventure games, you will get to play games like parasailing, banana boats, speed boats etc. Calm and amicable water sports can be experienced here. It is open to tourists on all days of the week.

3. Marina Park & ​​Aquarium

Marina Park located in Port Blair is also known as ‘Samudrika Maritime Museum’ which is managed by the Indian Navy. The main objective of its establishment was to create awareness about the conservation of aquatic life and resources in Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Here you can get detailed information about the social and tribal life group. The park is open from 9.00 am to 12.00 noon and 2.00 pm to 5 pm except Monday.

4. Anthropological Museum

It is said to be one of the best museums in Andaman, which serves to throw an in-depth and informative picture of the local community tribes. These tribes are considered to be the oldest in the world. Located in the middle point of Port Blair, it is a good scenic spot. Jarawa chest guards and Shamani sculptures are the major exhibits of this museum. It is open from 09:00 AM to 01.00 PM and from 01.30 PM to 04.30 PM. It is closed on all government holidays and Mondays.

5. Corbyn’s Cove Beach

This beach near the Cellular Jail is the most visited in Andaman for its natural beauty. Activities like water sports like jet skiing, scuba diving, snorkelling make it more popular. This beach is full of dense trees. It is decorated with many restaurants and bars. You can enjoy drinking coconut water comfortably here with your friends. You will easily find blue benches for sitting here.

6. Viper Island

This island is a wonderful place which is one of the most important tourist destinations of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The island is famous for the ruins of the prison which used to be before the Cellular Jail. This prison was previously used to imprison political prisoners. Here you can see the ruins hanging on the island. Many freedom fighters of India were made prisoners in this prison.

7. Vandoor Beach

Vandoor beach, located 35 km east of Port Blair, is one of the popular beaches of Andaman which attracts hundreds of tourists every day. It is known as the gateway to Mahatma Gandhi National Marine Park. It takes one hour to reach here by bus.

8. Forest Museum

The Forest Museum is just a few km from the Cellular Jail. Here you can see Gurjan, Satinwood, Peacock, Padak, stone etc. The museum is open on all working days (except Sundays) from 9 am to 5 pm.

9. North Bay Beach

Located near Port Blair, this beach is very famous for water corals. Here you can enjoy snorkelling and scuba diving. All kinds of facilities like food, clothes locker, huts etc. are available here. Most travellers prefer to enjoy sea corals through snorkeling and scuba diving for more time in the North Bay.

10. Bird Tapu

Chidiya Tapu, also known as ‘Sunset Point’ and ‘Bird Island’. If you want to see the beautiful view of the sunset, then there is no better place than this. This beach is located about 18 km from Port Blair, where it takes 30 minutes to go. It is an ideal place for nature lovers. This place is also famous for its endemic species of 46 species. You will find white spotted deer and seasonal orchids here.

11. Shaved Mountain Beach

The bird is at some distance from Tapu, Munda Pahar Beach. Here you will find wide species of birds. Munda mountains are known as a habitat for these lively and beautiful birds. If you are fond of taking pictures of birds, then you will particularly like this place.

12. Jolly Boy’s Island

Jolly Boy Island is a place you would not like to leave on a trip to Andaman. The island is 15 miles from Vandur Jetty. From Vandoor, you will have to take a ferry to reach Jolly Boy. The water beauty of this place is amazing where you will see colorful fish and corals. Snorkeling can also be enjoyed here. It is better to carry extra clothes while going here. It is closed on Mondays.

13. Mount Harriet National Park

The natural beauty of Mount Harriet National Park attracts a lot of visitors. It was established in 1987. Dense forests, wild fruits and many varieties of plants are found here. The breathtaking view of the open seashore on the eastern side serves to give peace to your mind. It is open from 7 am to 5 pm. There is a ticket of Rs 25 for adults and Rs 10 for children.

14. Radhanagar Beach

Situated on the island of Havelock, Radhanagar Beach is one of the most popular beaches in India. Many activities can be enjoyed at this beach such as scuba diving, snorkeling, boating, fishing etc. This beach is a popular destination, especially for couples. If you are thinking of going somewhere for honeymoon then Andaman and Nicobar can be a good option. The serene atmosphere here serves to connect you with romance. Elephant rides can also be enjoyed here.

15. Elephant Beach

After visiting Havelock Island, you won’t want to leave Elephant Beach for a visit. It is just a few minutes away from Radhanagar Beach. The white sand and blue, green water of Elephant Beach attracts almost every traveller. Elephants passing through the lighthouse are worth seeing on the beach. You can also enjoy a boat ride here.

16. Laxmanpur Beach

Laxmanpur Beach is close to Bharatpur Beach. Spectacular biodiversity, white sandy beaches and tropical forests and flora can be seen here. The island is counted among the cozy and peaceful beaches. The largest part of the island is about 5 km long, which you can walk and walk in 2 hours.

17. Bharatpur Beach

Bharatpur beach, located a short distance from Neil Island, is famous for its coral reefs and white beaches. The best time to visit these beaches is during the morning and evening. If you like to go snorkeling, then morning will be especially good for you. Here you can also enjoy the view of coral reefs. You can make benches to relax by taking coconut water from local vendors.

18. Mangrove Creek, Baratang Island

Baratang Island is located about 100 kilometres from the city of Port Blair. Boat-safaris are quite entertaining amidst the nature-built tunnel of thick mangrove gardens. Here exotic birds and dense trees in the water can be seen. This mangrove creek leads to the magnificent Lime Stone Caves.

19. Lime Stone Caves

The limestone caves located in Baratang Island are one of the main tourist destinations of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Inside the caves, stalactites and stalagmites will immediately gather your attention who have created some unique shapes inside the caves. However, there is not much to see here other than this natural limestone cave, but a boat ride to it makes it entertaining. Here crocodiles are also found in the sea, which needs to be cautious.

20. Ross and Smith Island

Ross and Smith Islands are known as twin islands, famous for their natural white sand, which connects the two islands. Bluewater, tropical forests, coast and beautiful villages make this place an ideal destination. You can reach Ross and Smith Islands via a boat from Ariel Bay Jetty. While going here, do not forget to carry light clothes, sunscreen, slippers and caps with you.

21. Guitar Island Beach

It is one of the most beautiful and less crowded islands in Andaman. If you are troubled by the crowd, then this beach will prove to be better for you. This guitar-shaped seed is attached to a neighbouring island. Here you can go for a walk around the beach in the morning and also take a book to read.
